Core Job Summary The Biostatistician 2 provides advanced statistical support, develops new analysis strategies, and collaborates with project PIs. Responsibilities include preparing reports, managing large datasets, and serving as a liaison between junior statisticians and the research community. Core Job Functions Finalize analysis plans and prepare detailed specifications. Communicate with clients about statistical issues. Prepare data, conduct analyses, and summarize results. Interpret analyses and write sections of study reports. Contribute to progress reports, presentations, and publications. Maintain and document databases. Consult with investigators on statistical planning. Support problem resolution and methodological consultations. Adhere to institutional policies and safeguard assets. Core Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Data collection, organization, and analysis skills. Problem-solving and judgment abilities. Department Specific Functions Support research in data management, methodological development, and advanced analyses, including omics data and bioinformatics. Collaborate on publications and grant applications. Qualifications Education Preferred: Master's in Statistics or Biostatistics. Experience At least 5 years in biostatistics, bioinformatics, or related fields. Experience with clinical trials, observational studies, and omics data. Proficiency in R programming and bioinformatics tools. Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes Expertise in statistical analysis, data management, and R programming.
