Entrepreneur-in-Residence Opportunity: Software Engineer (AI + Fintech)

Part-Time or Full-Time | Equity + Mentorship | Cash

MaTrx.ai is reimagining investment banking for the lower middle market using AI. We combine real M&A advisory with proprietary automation tools for due diligence, sourcing, and financial workflows.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial builder to help us scale the platform. You’ll work directly with the founder and get hands-on experience across AI tooling, deal tech, and web app development.

What You'll Do:

• Build backend features (Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy) and AI workflows (OpenAI, Playwright)
• Enhance the frontend (React/Tailwind) and real-time UX (WebSockets, socket.io)
• Help shape tools that automate due diligence and document parsing for real transactions
• Collaborate on scrapers, enrichment pipelines, dashboards, and internal tooling

Ideal Profile:

• Strong foundation in full-stack dev (Python, JS, SQL)
• Interest in AI, fintech, and startup building
• Entrepreneurial mindset — you like zero-to-one work
• Bonus: experience with LLMs, web scraping, Flask, or financial tech
