This role requires a strong passion for the organization's mission, a Bachelor's degree, and 3-5 years of non-profit leadership or similar for-profit experience. The Executive Director must have a proven track record in fundraising, be adept at establishing and maintaining relationships with donors and volunteers, and be able to cope with the emotional demands of working with children facing life-threatening medical conditions. Financial responsibilities include budget preparation, ensuring the chapter operates within budget, and raising funds to meet financial goals.
