If you want to work 4 - ten hour shifts this is the job for you. Some Friday would be available. Hours of the shift are 3pm to 1 am Monday thru Thursday.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC POSITION

Shift: 2nd

Hourly Rate: $20.48 to $25.34 depending on experience. Plus .65 cents per hour shift premium.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Inspect, maintain and repair industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
\n
• Test and observe equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices to diagnose malfunctions and make repairs as needed.
\n
• Safely operate scissor lifts, forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools.
\n
• Assess the condition of parts using micrometers, calipers and tape measures.
\n
• Examine equipment on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for signs of excessive wear, defects and damage.
\n
• Order or request orders to be placed to replenish materials and parts when inventory grows low or is depleted.
\n
• Assist with safety inspections as needed.
\n
• Maintain clean work area.
\n
• Other duties as outlined by Management.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent.
\n
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
\n
• Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.
\n
• Forklift experience desired.
\n
• Welding experience a plus.
\n
• Available to work overtime as deemed necessary by management.
\n
• Basic Math skills and basic computer knowledge.
\n
• Able to work standing and walking for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
\n
• Mobility to move between work assignments.
\n
• Ability to repetitively, safely and efficiently lift and carry parts weighing up to 25 pounds, and safely and efficiently lift items weighing 50 pounds (DOT lifting category "medium").
\n
• Repetitive twisting, reaching and squatting are all integral to this position.
\n
• Employees working near equipment with moving parts must have vision correctable to 20/20.
\n
