Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job Summary As an Airline Ramp Service Agent at LAS Airport, you will be an essential part of our ground handling operation, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of baggage, cargo, and aircraft. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading baggage, aircraft marshaling, and water servicing, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and teamwork to meet airline and customer expectations. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.Responsibilities

  • Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft in a timely and safe manner.
  • Marshal aircraft to and from gates, ensuring proper placement and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform aircraft servicing, including water and lavatory maintenance.
  • Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, belt loaders, and pushback tractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and airline regulations.
  • Work closely with other ramp agents, supervisors, and airline personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in aircraft de-icing, as required, during winter operations.
  • Follow security procedures and report any safety concerns or security breaches.Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid US driver’s license and ability to obtain an airport driving permit.
  • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • *This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union that requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.** Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in ramp service, ground handling, or aviation operations.
  • Familiarity with ground support equipment operation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and airline regulations.Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
  • Working in high-noise environments near aircraft engines and ground equipment.
  • Use of protective gear such as earplugs and high-visibility vests.
  • Physically demanding work that requires agility and endurance.
