Job Description

PTAs are the steady presence supporting each resident’s path to greater movement and independence. Their close communication with PTs and teamwork with nursing and therapy staff ensures that progress is carried forward with care, consistency, and encouragement.

*Physical Therapy Assistant Requirements and Responsibilities*
* Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
* Current state license (as applicable)
* Experience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred
* Deliver therapy services under PT direction
* Accurately track and report on resident progress
* Comply with safety, documentation, and treatment regulations
