The Foundation Intern will have an opportunity to learn new skills and foster their abilities through providing support to the Foundation's efforts. Specifically, they will be assisting with video editing, podcast recording, and other tasks to support the branding and fundraising of the Foundation including event assistance and other duties as assigned.
Create, film, and edit videos to promote the ARH Foundation and its work in Appalachia to post on the web and social media sites
Assist in planning a mix of short-form and long-form video content
Help organizing, charging, and prepping camera equipment (GoPro) before film days
Work directly with the ARH Foundation Coordinator to plan and implement a social media strategy
Assist with face-to-face marketing at tables, programs, and events when needed
Education: Currently an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university majoring in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
Minimum Work Experience: Must have experience in video editing
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well in diverse teams
Self motivation with the ability to take initiative
