Global Sales Trainers provide comprehensive support and training to our sales channels to help develop and equip them to be productive in their job. The Sales Training team prides themselves with instilling The mission of a POS sales trainer is to grow Global's profit through the development of knowledge in the field and developing self-sustaining wealthy sales professionals. The vast majority of the Sales Trainers time will be allocated to Point of Sale new hire training in a virtual setting over various subjects. A Sales Trainer will train representatives over Global's methodologies, technologies and products. This position is unique to the company and it requires someone who is driven by creative freedom and who has an entrepreneurial spirit to "run their own shop" within a larger organization. Duties include coordinating and scheduling new hires and veterans to the appropriate training forums; conducting virtual recurring 1:1 trainings over Sales Skills, Global Solutions, and Sales Tech; coaching and mentoring new hires through sales scenarios and role plays to deepen learning transfer and application; training on a wide array of payments processing, POS, and financial products and over Global's sales enablement tools; reporting and tracking new hires within the sales training program, and helping to keep them accountable in completing training requirements; updating, developing, and designing new training content as needed by management; working side-by-side to build strong relationships with sales management in assigned dedicated regions; coordinating and conducting group trainings over payments processing and POS specific topics nation-wide and within assigned dedicated regions; developing and/or conducting onsite live trainings on a variety of topics as needed. Experience/Skillset required includes ability to handle multiple responsibilities with limited supervision, commitment to the success of salespeople through various learning preferences, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid critical thinking and organization skills, strong documentation and problem resolution skills, comfort presenting training instruction live and via conference call or webinar, strong interpersonal skills, ability to balance multiple projects, confidence in providing constructive feedback, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work within time constraints, clear decision making under stress, self-learner mindset, willingness to maintain close communication with teammates and manager, growth mindset and professionalism. Required: Previous Training or L&D experience. Preferred: Previous sales experience, previous coaching/mentoring experience.
