We are looking for a market facing Bridge Principal on the West coast to take our established bridge engineering team to the next level and grow our bridge design, assessment and construction engineering offering. The successful applicant will be a seller-doer with strong relationships and a demonstrated record of work winning. Arup is a global multi-disciplinary consultancy with a focus on skills, quality and "total design", allowing us to take on complex and ambitious projects, both big and small. We work with clients to understand their needs and aspirations, so that our solutions make their bridge projects possible. We have delivered landmark major bridges across the US and worldwide as well as highly technical studies and assessments. This role can be based out of or near our Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Oakland office locations. **The Opportunity** + Collaborate with other Arup leaders to develop your go-to-market strategy + Build and maintain relationships with key agency and contractor clients as well as potential collaborators + Identify and position for major bridge opportunities in California and the Pacific Northwest + Bid and win bridge engineering work + Lead major bridge projects as a Project Director to deliver successful outcomes At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective - in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Options for alternative schedules and the ability to work outside of the office for a portion of your workweek are available Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Los Angeles is $250,000 to 300,000 year. **This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level.** Benefits are not included in the base salary.
